My collection, Meliorism, explores the idea that renewal is in the midst of creation.

Each garment is made of secondhand materials, which I redefined through knitting, dying, patterning, and sewing techniques.

I wanted to create beauty out of things that were no longer needed or wanted, and to make something better out of items that otherwise would be forgotten.

Through my designs, I hope to show that there is value in finding beauty in unexpected places, and that we have the power to create positive change by reimagining what we already have.

Meliorism reminds us that we can always strive to make things better, and that progress is possible through conscious effort.
